Know Your Rights and Responsibilities

You will be informed of your rights and responsibilities at the start of your course and through our Student Handbook. These include:

  • Right to Quality Education: Expect education and training that meet Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) standards and relevant contractual requirements.
  • Right to Privacy: Be informed about how your personal information is collected, used, and protected.
  • Right to Feedback: Access mechanisms for providing feedback and lodging complaints.

Your Responsibilities

As a student, you are expected to:

  • Actively Participate: Engage in all course activities, discussions, and assessments to enhance your learning experience.
  • Adhere to Policies: Follow all Eden LMS policies, including the Code of Conduct, which ensures a respectful and productive learning environment.
  • Communicate Respectfully: Treat fellow students, staff, and instructors with respect and professionalism, promoting a positive community for all.

Your Work Placement Responsibilities

For courses that include a work placement component:

  • Comply with Host Requirements: Follow the rules and regulations of the host organization where you are placed.
  • Report Issues: Notify Eden LMS promptly of any issues or concerns encountered during your work placement to ensure timely support and resolution.

Enrolment/Subscription Notices

Enrolment Information

To access Eden Work Packs, Eden Unlimited, RPL Kits, and Full Qualifications on Eden LMS, you must:

  1. Complete Subscription Form: Accurately provide all required details, including a valid payment method.
  2. Access Courseware: You can access course materials relevant to your subscription at any time while your subscription is active.
  3. Enrol & Pay: Enrolment is confirmed upon submission of your final assessment for each unit and successful payment of associated fees. Your student record will then be updated with all relevant study information.

Your enrolment is subject to our terms and conditions and the course prerequisites.

Student Privacy, Enrolment Notices & Subscriptions

By subscribing and enrolling in our courses, you agree to abide by all Eden LMS policies and acknowledge that your personal information will be managed according to our Privacy Policy. This includes information such as your name, Unique Student Identifier (USI), contact details, and study outcomes.


Learner Portal Access

The Eden LMS Learner Portal allows you to:

  • Access Study Records: View your current and past study records and results.
  • Update Information: Check and update your contact details.
  • Request Documents: Obtain official transcripts and other documentation as needed.

Log in with the username and password provided upon subscription. Should your subscription lapse, your profile and submissions will be stored for 12 months, allowing you to reactivate your account without starting over.


Assessment Appeals

If you wish to appeal an assessment result:

  1. Initial Contact: Discuss your concerns directly with your instructor to seek clarification and resolution.
  2. Formal Appeal: If unresolved, complete the Assessment Appeals Form available on the Eden LMS portal and submit it as instructed.

Making a Complaint

To file a complaint:

  1. Report Issues: Speak to any Eden LMS employee or submit your complaint via the online complaint form.
  2. Confidential Handling: All complaints are handled confidentially and promptly to ensure fair resolution.

  1. Upload Identification: Provide 100 points of ID in your learner profile.
  2. Verification Mechanisms: ID validation through:
    • ID Verify Application
    • Random ID Audits
    • Face-to-Face Verification with a Workplace Mentor or Trainer at an approved Eden LMS partner site.
