Termination & Refund Policy

Refund Policy for Individuals

Eden LMS e-Learning Platform by Onshift Education (RTO: 41304) offers a flexible refund policy for individual subscribers:

  1. Work Packs Only: This plan includes a 7-day free trial. Subscribers who successfully complete any course and receive a certificate within this period can access their certificates for free. On the 8th day, subscribers will be charged for an annual plan at the agreed rate. Refund requests can be made within the first 14 days, provided no certificate has been obtained. Fees are non-refundable after this 14 day cooling off period. Subscribers may cancel at any time and re-activate their account within the paid for period. Student records will be retained for completed programs only, progress may be lost when cancelled.

  2. Eden Unlimited (Monthly Payment)This plan includes a 7-day free trial. Subscribers can access all courses and programs with a 7-day free trial. Subscribers who successfully complete any course and receive a certificate within this period can access their professional certificates for free. Refund requests can be made within the first 14 days, provided no certificate has been obtained. Fees are non-refundable after this 14 day cooling off period. Subscribers may cancel at any time. Student records will be retained for completed programs only, progress may be lost when cancelled.

  3. Eden Unlimited (Annual Payment)This plan includes a 7-day free trial. Subscribers can access all courses and programs with a 7-day free trial. Subscribers who successfully complete any course and receive a certificate within this period can access their certificates for free. Refund requests can be made within the first 30 days, provided no certificate has been obtained. 25% of the fee’s paid is non-refundable after this 14 day cooling off period. A partial refund will be issued within the first 30 days without prejudice if the subscriber has been inactive. Subscribers may cancel at any time. Student records will be retained for completed programs only, progress may be lost when cancelled. Should any refund fall outside the policy above a credit will be held for the subscriber to use at anytime in the initial 12 month term and reactivate their account.

  4. In application payments: All in application fee’s such as enrolment fees, RPL application fees and certificate fees are collected in such a way that the subscriber should have audited their selected program contents and are ready to proceed with the intention of completing. As such these fee’s are non-refundable after payment is made. Subscribers paying these fee’s for any other reason do so at their own risk. At no time will Eden LMS or Onshift Education request payment in advance from a subscriber for these items.

Termination Policy for Individuals

Individual subscribers of Eden LMS can manage their subscriptions with the following termination options:

  1. Work Packs: Subscribers can terminate their subscription anytime within the cooling off period. No refunds are provided if any certificate has been issued during the free trial period.

  2. Eden Unlimited (Monthly Payment): Subscribers may cancel their monthly subscription at any time. There is no refund for any paid month, and access will continue until the end of the current billing cycle. Student records will be retained for completed programs only, progress may be lost when cancelled.

  3. Eden Unlimited (Annual Payment): Annual subscribers can cancel their subscription anytime. Upon cancellation, they can reactivate their account within the 12-month period already paid for. Any credit balance will be retained for later use within the 12-month period already paid for. Credit balances expire at the end of the 12-month period.

Termination requests must be made through the Eden LMS portal or by contacting customer support. All subscriptions are auto-renewable unless cancelled by the subscriber.


Termination Policy for Employers

Employers managing subscriptions for their employees on Eden LMS have the following termination options:

Eden Unlimited for Employers (Monthly Payment)

  1. Termination Flexibility: Employers may cancel their monthly subscription at any time. There is no refund for any paid month.
  2. Access Continuation: Access for employees will continue until the end of the current billing cycle.
  3. Student Records: Records for completed courses will be retained. Progress in ongoing courses may be lost upon termination.

Eden Unlimited for Employers (Annual Payment)

  1. Cancellation Anytime: Employers can cancel their annual subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, they can reactivate the account within the 12-month period already paid for. 
  2. Account Credit: Any remaining credit after a cancellation will be retained and can be used within the active 12-month period.
  3. Credit Expiry: Credit balances will expire at the end of the 12-month period if not used.
  4. Student Records: Records for completed courses will be retained. Progress in ongoing courses may be lost upon termination.
  5. Annual Payment Bonus Credits: Bonus Credits will be forfieted if the plan is suspended or cancelled for any reason.

Termination requests must be submitted in writing by contacting your Account Manager.  


Refund Policy for Employers

Employers can request refunds under the following conditions:

  1. System Access: Employers are subjects to consumer protections in accordance with Australia Law.  

  2. Pro-Rata Refunds: Pro-rata refunds are not available unless their is a failure by Eden LMS to execute its responsibilites as detailed in the Employer Subscription Agreement. Refunds granted will be done so without prejudice inline with our terms of service for employers.

Refund requests must be submitted in writing and will be processed according to the terms outlined in the employer’s subscription agreement.


Defaulting on Payments

In the event of payment defaults:

  1. Individual Subscribers: If payment is not received by the due date, access to the Eden LMS platform will be suspended the service until payment is resolved. Persistent defaults may lead to account termination and loss of access to course materials and professional certificates.

  2. Employer Subscriptions: Employers who default on payments will receive a notice of suspension. If payment issues are not resolved within 14 days of the notice, access for all associated employees will be suspended, and the account may be terminated. Bonus Credits will be forfieted if an Employer account recieves a Notice of Suspension.
